Look look look! This is the LAST of the people to make up my blanket. I’ve decided against doing the banner for mine just yet – mostly because I don’t have the yarn I need for it and I’m too broke to go buy more – but I will still write up a few banner options in case someone else wants to add something. That should get posted at some point this weekend.

I again took some artistic licence for her uniform, because I thought this was the most iconic, but having it all grey wasn’t working for me. The black bands just break it up and add some interest. Feel free to keep them grey instead if you prefer it that way. I did spend a lot of time comparing shots of her in this outfit, because in one light it looked like two shades of purple, and in others it was grey and purple. I had to delve into the cosplay forums to be sure!

I am so glad to finally be at this point, even though it means I can’t put off weaving the ends in any more. I’m almost finished doing them for this panel, I’ve got half left to do on Worf’s, and all of Geordi’s to do. They normally take 2-3 hours per panel to finish the weaving, so they should be done this weekend, which means I’ll hopefully have it DONE. COMPLETED. SEWN TOGETHER. And I like the thought of that.

I want to make more things to put up for sale in my Etsy, including a few new patterns I’m still tweaking. I put them aside to finish this blanket, so I’m going to try to get them out as soon as I can. I want to make some more Charmed Gauntlets of different sizes in the colours already available, plus some other beautiful yarn I have. I really love these gloves, I think they’re cute as well as handy (pun intended) – POCKETS, man. POCKETS.

Speaking of Etsy, next Friday is my 40th birthday, so I’ll be having a sale there. My daughter chose the coupon code and insists is the perfect one, so since I couldn’t come up with anything better, I’m rolling with it. Keep an eye out on my Instagram for that, it will also be going up over the weekend. This sale will be for patterns, finished products, and custom orders – EVERYTHING. Except shipping, because I don’t think the post office will give me a birthday discount. I have a few more things to list first, so I better get those sorted out.

Next up will be the banners, and then hopefully the finished product. I have a bunch of stuff to do around the house this weekend, including wanting to rearrange my yarn stash, so I’m hoping that I’ll have a low pain weekend. Everything has been hurting a lot this week, but I think that’s mostly because of the stress I’ve been under. I try to remind myself of a few things – that this too shall pass, everything will work out for the best, and the only way is through.
