I love Outlander – both the book series by Diana Gabaldon, and the TV version of it. Season 2 starts up this weekend and I cannot wait. Inspired by my love of the characters and story, I decided to try my hand at designing my own C2C panel blanket. I’ve made my first panel and am tweaking the patterns for the rest, and I hope to have them up soon. I’ve been greatly inspired by Two Hearts Crochet in this, but I’ve still tried to make it my own. Pixel people versions of some of the characters (Claire, Jamie, Bree, and Roger), along with some of the important imagery from the books.

I finished this first panel tonight, but it still needs a bit of tidying up and to have all those edges woven in. I’m not crocheting as much or as fast as I’d like, thanks the joys of arthritis, but I’m getting there.
